Can my kids get their frames reglazed?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to reglaze children’s glasses.
Under the Opticians Act 1989, the sale and supply of prescription eyewear for anyone under 16 must be carried out by, or under the supervision of, a registered optometrist or dispensing optician.
As an offsite glazing facility with no on-site optometrists or dispensing opticians, we are not legally permitted to provide this service. This regulation is in place to ensure children’s lenses are accurately fitted and professionally checked to support healthy visual development.
We recommend visiting your local optician, who will be able to help with reglazing your child’s glasses safely and correctly.
